Aaron Douthit

A lifelong soccer player, Aaron brings his love for competition and speed to his work every day.

As Vice President of Development, Aaron is responsible for leading the region’s business strategy to maximize asset value and achieve the highest risk-adjusted returns for our investors. Aaron oversees the Central Region’s development activities including due diligence, underwriting, design, capitalization, and construction administration, and has led and/or supported the execution of over $2 billion in capital transactions during his time with JPI.

Aaron has 7 years of JPI experience beginning his career in the Central Region office as a member of the Corporate FP&A team before relocating to San Diego in 2017 to focus on investment and asset management of the Western Region portfolio. He came back to the Central Region in January 2022 to take his current position.

Aaron graduated Summa Cum Laude from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and was a member of the Men’s soccer team. Aaron is a CFA Chartholder and is a member of the CFA Society.

When not at work, Aaron loves spending time with his family and enjoys being outdoors doing activities like golfing, hunting, fishing, and of course, playing soccer.
